In the early hours of Tuesday, 22 July 2025, while most of the city was fast asleep, Secra Security’s 24/7 Control Room was wide awake—vigilantly monitoring high-risk sites through our state-of-the-art remote CCTV surveillance system.

At exactly 01:00 AM, one of our trained security operators identified suspicious movement on the Sasol Danman Stop premises. A suspect was captured on camera trespassing within the secured property boundaries.

Following standard emergency protocol, our control room team promptly dispatched a Secra Armed Response unit to the location. Our highly trained responders arrived swiftly on scene to find the suspect attempting to force entry into the attendants’ change room.

With precise coordination and minimal delay, our officers intervened before the suspect could escape, successfully apprehending the individual on-site. All stolen items were recovered and accounted for—ensuring zero loss to the client.

The suspect was detained and handed over to the Mooinooi SAPS (South African Police Service) for official processing and criminal investigation.
